1. Shipping Coverage & UK Regions

LiftMeUp delivers live plants and plant accessories to residential and commercial addresses across the entire United Kingdom. This includes mainland England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

Because live plants are sensitive organisms, we do not ship to international destinations, PO Boxes, or British Forces Post Office (BFPO) addresses. All deliveries require a valid street address where a courier can safely deliver or leave the package.

3. Order Processing & Dispatch Cut-offs

Our greenhouse team prepares and packs orders to ensure plants spend the minimum amount of time inside cardboard boxes.

• Weekday Cut-off: Orders placed before **2:00 PM** Monday through Friday are processed and handed to our couriers on the same day.
• Late Orders: Orders placed after 2:00 PM on weekdays are dispatched the following business day.
• Weekends & Bank Holidays: Orders placed over the weekend or on public holidays are dispatched on the next working business day (usually Monday). We do not dispatch live plants on Saturdays or Sundays to prevent them from sitting in carrier depots over the weekend.

4. Regional Surcharges & Variations

Deliveries to remote parts of the UK require specialized routes and may take slightly longer:

• Scottish Highlands: Deliveries to postcodes starting with **KW, IV, ZE, HS, or KA27-28** will attract a flat shipping surcharge of **£7.50** to cover extended courier network fees. Delivery to these locations takes 5-7 business days.
• Northern Ireland: Shipped via specialized Irish Sea routes, taking 4-6 business days. Shipping rates are calculated dynamically at checkout based on package weight.

5. Live Plant Packaging & Weather Restrictions

All plants are shipped in our custom, drop-tested cardboard packaging which secures the plastic nursery pot and supports the delicate foliage. Live plants can safely tolerate 2 to 3 days in transit without light or water.

Extreme Weather Warning: During periods of extreme heat (above 30°C) or severe frost (below -2°C) in the UK, we may delay shipping your live plants by 24-48 hours to protect them. If a delay is necessary, we will contact you via email with an updated tracking schedule.

6. Order Tracking

As soon as your order is packaged and dispatched, we will send an automated shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number and a link to trace the parcel. You can track the progress of your plant delivery on the courier's website directly.
